The item description was generally accurate but i have three problems really:
Although advertised to fit from 12ins upward there is very little space under the light if you use a 30cm cube tank as the light is too long and it is just between the sides of the glass. I wouldn’t recommend it at this size.
More serious, it was dead on arrival. The red wire wasn’t connected. I soldered it back and also re-soldered the blue wire which had a very grey joint. The insulation of the red wire was also nicked a bit further up.
I can’t figure out how to get independent dimming of white/red/green/pink and blue. Even while attempting dimming control while white or blue is flashing all the leds dim together. Is this a controller fault or is the black wire also disconnected under the silicone, i wonder?
