The actual tool is great, just needs calibrated. The container it came in however went straight in the trash

The refractometer is not calibrated. It needs to be calibrated using a special oil, e.g., BRIX 73%. This oil for calibration is NOT included in the set. After calibration, everything seems to be fine.

Almost functional, calibration is done with cooking oil, the adjustment is at the very bottom of the right and left scales… I recommend despite not being able to verify the calibration result with honey. The device doesn’t really exude quality; the blue area that appears doesn’t always look good. There’s a slight misalignment with the lens and prism, but maybe it’s just my device that has this small defect. But for the price, why not? . . . I still recommend it. . . .

It arrived on time and matches what I need to measure honey; it should be calibrated with olive oil or clove oil, which is ideal… now I just have to wait for the harvest to test it… good purchase, I recommend it.
