Ha! I have been very impressed since I bought a very cheap amplifier (6€), I started to believe in cheap class D amplifiers. I connected the T9 to tonsil newmildon 150w speakers and my jaw dropped; they play better on the T9 than the Yamaha A-520, only it’s not RM.

The amplifier surprised me. I compared the sound with the monitor/speaker from the Tomate, and the sound difference is surreal. I always thought that the sound of tube amplifiers shouldn’t have such a big difference from a common transistorized sound, and that I wouldn’t even notice the difference, but it was a big difference. Only the sound power disappointed me a bit, as it doesn’t deliver 100W at 4 ohms as advertised.

An excellent amplifier, looks like a toy but sounds like an adult device. It’s a pity there’s no headphone jack – that would have been absolutely fantastic. A funny touch: the included tubes are 6J2P EV (military standard) from 1988, Vinnytsia, Ukraine. If needed, they can be easily replaced, there are tons of options.

This toy I’ve been longing for exceeded my expectations. Excellent workmanship and packaging. At first, the sound was typically electronic, pleasant to the ear, but somewhat flat, which, as expected, significantly improved after a longer burn-in period. I am satisfied. Also, the precise, step-by-step operation of the potentiometers deserves praise. What can I criticize? The stated power of 100W is apparently musical, not sinusoidal. Batteries for the remote control are not included… keep that in mind, but at this price, it’s acceptable :-).
