Baofeng UV-5R radio transceiver 5W/8W dual-band VHF UHF FM radio transmitter receiver 16 km

The Baofeng UV-5R radio is a dual-band (VHF/UHF) portable transceiver designed for hunters, tourists, construction workers, and anyone who needs reliable communication without a mobile network. This radio has a range of up to 16 km in open areas and features additional functions such as an FM radio, SOS alert, and a powerful LED flashlight. It's an excellent choice for outdoor adventures and emergency situations.

Key features of the radio with dual-band VHF UHF communication

• Dual-band communication — Support for VHF and UHF frequencies allows communication over a wider frequency range and adapts to different conditions.
• Dual standby function — Two bands, two displays, and two frequencies simultaneously provide more freedom and a more convenient communication experience without interference.
• Adjustable transmission power — You can choose from 1W/4W/8W (for the 8W model) or 1W/5W (for the 5W model) depending on the required distance.
• Built-in FM radio — You can listen to your favorite radio stations while traveling, with up to 25 stations stored in memory.
• SOS alert — A short button press activates a loud siren and flashing light, sending a signal about your location.
• Programming via computer or manually — Frequencies can be entered using the keyboard in VFO mode or programmed via a computer using the CHIRP software.
