Everything works as expected. To upgrade firmware download from fnirsi the bin file (1.4 as for december 2025). With the testeer powered off, press ‘hold’ and ‘save’ buttons, then power on the tester. Connect the tester with an usb cable to a pc. Then, in file explorer of the pc search for ‘dmc-100’ disk. Copy in it the *****.bin file you downloaded, then press menu button.
It’s not a fluke, but it’s one of the best low priced multimeters i’ve ever owned.

This is a nice meter. I think, the user manual is not good enough, though. The usability is decent, not excellent. I did not test the accuracy. The manual does not describe the voltage sensor, that allows to detect mains voltage. It also does not describe the line detection, that allows to identify the hot/live connector of a wall plug. It requires to lead connected to the red jack. The torch is not very bright. Probably, it is still useful. The ohm meter/beeper is fast enough for measuring a cable pinout. Despite the few things mentioned, i would recommend this clamp meter.

Bought this because i got tired of dragging my bench meter all over the house every time something decided to break, and the price was too good to ignore. Shipping was fast and the meter arrived in perfect condition. It was packed inside what felt like a small fortress of foam. Overkill? Maybe. Appreciated? Definitely. The meter itself comes with a nice carrying case, which was a pleasant surprise. It includes the usual budget probes you’d expect with a portable meter, which i swapped out immediately, but that’s no surprise at this price point. All modes work as expected, and the continuity mode has a very responsive beep, which i’m genuinely happy about. It also has a live circuit detector and a built-in flashlight. The flashlight isn’t exactly a beacon of hope in the darkness, but it’s better than nothing and has already come in handy. Overall, i’m very happy with this meter.

The first time I came into contact with a clamp, my first impression was that it seemed small, but after holding it, it feels great, it’s comfortable, and the material feels good. This ac/dc clamp current reader provides reliable readings. one of the best features is the usb-c charging port. the internal battery can last for a long time on a single charge, even with frequent use of the backlight and various testing modes. the screen is exceptionally vivid, the digits are sharp and easy to read at a glance. given the rechargeable battery and the build quality, the price is really cheap compared to big-name brands that offer similar specs.
