This is the best tool for drywall or plaster. I use this system for tv wall mounts, heavy mirrors, portraits…
Do it once, do it right.
I use a sonic stud finder, then a very fine drill tip to confirm. If there’s a wooden piece behind, great! I’ll use a normal screw.
But when the wall is hollow, this is the best system for load bearing and this tool is necessary to affix the stud.
