It's a fake, and I knew it when I bought it.
Comparative to the real thing it is almost no different but it does pick up fan noise and is less warm than the actual shure sm7b but.
Here’s the thing though.
With a little bit of eq and after effects they are almost indistinguishable and the main issue comes from internal build quality.
That being said compared to the price of a real shure sm7b this mic is reasonably priced compared to the real thing and because of that almost arguably better value since its close to the real thing at a fraction of the price.
-1 star for false advertising but overall i’m impressed with the mic despite it being a close copy.
