Maximum quality, fully metal. Keep in mind that the connection can only rotate around its axis; you cannot change the angle. However, this allows it to withstand greater loads. The connection itself is even lubricated inside. Such clamps do not grip well to a flat surface due to their shape; if you need to attach to a flat surface, consider the Ulanzi HD02 clamp, which has special jaws for this purpose.

perfect for my tasks. Clearly it can support more weight than an action camera, but I have no way to check.

Compared to the SmallRig, it’s definitely stiffer, heavier, and less precise. It makes a bit of a rattling sound. But the main issue is that when clamped onto an arc-shaped surface (well, sometimes you have to clamp onto what’s available), this clamp just doesn’t hold! The SmallRig holds, but it’s not that much more expensive. In short, it would have been better to add the SmallRig as well. Oh, and the knob here is made of plastic, while on the SmallRig it’s metal. The difference is only 400 rubles.
