Q: How long does the device run on batteries?
A: With two AAA batteries, the sensor can operate for more than 12 months in standby mode. The total operating time depends on the frequency with which data is measured and sent to the app. Regular measurements reduce battery life, but it is still very economical.

A: TopSmart store offers a standard warranty for the entire device. The product is shipped without batteries (which you must purchase separately). Address complaints and questions through our support department, which is ready to help quickly and professionally.

Despite the relatively moist substrate, the sensor only shows a humidity value of 17%. Maybe it’s because of the substrate? I have peat, coconut coir, and a lot of air in the substrate. That could be the reason. I think at 10% the soil seems drier and I can be notified to water. That’s how I’ll set it up. A humidity and temperature chart is clearly visible in the app. A long-term test is now being conducted. I am satisfied.

Works as intended. Easily pairs with zigbee2mqtt. I will be ordering more.

Very accurate description. I bought two, connected them both directly to Home Assistant by associating them with the Zigbee hub I have and using ZHA. They work correctly without even needing to associate them with a Tuya hub/app. I would easily buy them again if needed. Highly recommended. The only “flaw” is that I don’t understand why they drew the water drop backwards since they are made to work upside down… but obviously it’s just a negligible detail.

It sticks well to SmartThings. I bought it because I was afraid of killing the plants. I’ll buy a few more and apply it to all the plants.
