On the whole, these pixels appear to be of good quality, nice and bight & colourful. I do like that there is an arrow marking on the data wire to show which end to inject power and data. A nice label also showing the correct connections. There are some very slight niggles if i’m honest. The spool arrived slightly damaged, but no big deal with that. No pigtails at either end were supplied, and finally, when i ordered the pixels, i’m sure i saw a note that said these were either 22 or 20 awg wire, but i cannot fine anything now that states the wire rating. What i can tell you is that the wire looks chunky and robust, and possibly 22 or 20awg and the cores are spaced 2mm apart. Having stripped back the insulation and measured the conductor diameter, i get 0.5mm, which equates to 26awg. I guess the extra insulation will provide extra protection and possibly better mechanical strength when the strings are under tension. I was hoping the wire was at least 22awg, but 26awg will have to do.
