Super Lackdicken measuring device! It even automatically switches what it should detect! And the device is 100% accurate. The only criticism would be that there is no illuminated LCD, but for that price it’s great!

Works fine, confirmed my suspcion based on visual inspection of my car , that a few panels where re painted. Measures consistently , i also tried on another car, knowing that certain parts where repainted vs stock paint, and it showed the differnce in paint gauge. Useful tool.

A good thickness gauge. Everything included in the package is present. We installed a new battery (CR2032), calibrated it, and it works. We’ve been using it for many years, which is why we bought this particular model again. The reason we bought a new one: in the old thickness gauge, when replacing the battery, one of the terminals stopped snapping into place, so we opted for a time-tested model. We are satisfied with the product.
