I ordered the 7-1 package because there was no need to connect a LAN. All ports function normally, and the read/write speed of the A-type connectors depends on the type of devices being connected. Pass-through charging via Type-C is supported if the hub is connected to a device that charges using the PD protocol. The indicator light (not a button, as some think) is only intended to inform that the hub is connected to the device, regardless of which one it is. If connected to a smartphone, it is possible to connect any storage devices whose format is supported by the smartphone.

I purchased this for charging my Android tablet using the Type-C port and for outputting DP Alt HDMI video and audio signals. When the tablet is rebooted with the Type-C port connected, sound output through the 3.5mm stereo output works well.
Most Type-C hubs have the inconvenience that if you reboot the tablet with the Type-C port connected, you have to reconnect the 3.5mm jack to get sound.

Great product, arrived quickly and all the features are exactly as described. The cable that connects to the laptop could be a bit longer or even detachable, and the device gets a little hot when using power delivery and connected to two monitors, but nothing too concerning.
