No gears. I wouldn’t take it on an expedition to the North Pole, but under our conditions, it could last for several years. It’s difficult to insert the rod into the machine. I recommend using a marker to draw a longitudinal line with a pin. When it’s almost pushed in, the position of the pin cannot be adjusted and it must fit into the groove at the bottom. It’s good to feel it with your finger beforehand.

Today i tried out the snow shovel and i have to say that it’s excellent. Of course, i tried shoveling loose snow; i don’t recommend it for ice and i don’t know how it will perform on wet snow. I recommend it, it’s easier to shovel snow than with a regular shovel. The batteries lasted about 20-30 minutes, depending on how deep the snow was. I received the shovel five days after ordering it. I recommend both the shovel and the seller.
