The wired one was inconvenient because it got stuck when opening and closing the grill lid, and I had to go to the grill frequently to check, but being able to check it on my phone is nice. Very happy. Have used it once and it is so much better than needing to lift the lid of the bbq all of the time (especially when trying to smoke meat).
Software took a few times to get set alternative alarm temperatures – but got it working.
